Magice Posted April 22, 2007 Share Posted April 22, 2007 Yesterday I attempted to install OSX on a 60gb IDE drive I had (Since my SATA is nforce). I wiped the partition it had in disk uitility, and installed it to the new apple one. The computer reboot onto the IDE hd and gave me a weird error (cant remember it exactly). Now disk utility can't see the HD at all, and I have tried everything to wipe the HD. Partition magic just displays it as "BAD", and all other HD wiping programs just crash when they see the HD. Nadeo Posted April 22, 2007 Share Posted April 22, 2007 Did you try to install Windows once more? Just put in the CD of WindowsXP or else and format the drive.
