joshuamx78 Posted April 21, 2007 Share Posted April 21, 2007 after install in my dell dimensions 4700, works perfectly except the dvd player, when i put a dvd movie receive this error: a valid video device could not be found for playback -70017, this is the specifications of my pc. intel pentium4 2.79 ghz (prescott) intel chipset 915g 1ghz of ddr ram video integrated (works fine) Intel GMA 900: Chipset Model: GMA 900 Type: Display Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 64 MB of shared system memory Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x2582 Revision ID: 0x0004 audio integrated (works Fine) ethernet integrated (works fine) i just think about, maybe the total shared system memory is not enough for playback, how i can increase the shared memory, this video adapter works with 128 shared memory in windows but i not know how change this in the os x. you can help me please.
