Do not see an ide drive in the install window ?

Hello!

I got Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso

I am trying to install it on a HP XW8200

 

Which is passing CPUZ sse2 .....

It is a 2 x Xeon 3.00 gigahertz

2 gig of ram

scsi hard drives on which I have installed Window XP .

ide hardrive that I see with window and may NTFS format ....

But I do not see any hard disk on the Macos install window .

I do not see any drive in the disk Utility except the Install dvd

 

Can someone help me with this !!!!

 

Do I need to Fat32 format ?

 

Or what else can I do ?

 

I feel I am not far to succeed ....

Same here, maybe mine pc as well as yours don't have sse2 or sse3 after all. Tried FAT32 same s**t. Hope some one in this forum will help 'couse I realy want to try it out.

I've got AMD Athlon64 3000+ s.939, MB EPoX 9NPAJ SLi, 2x512 RAM, nVidia 6600gt 128mb if someone can tell will it work at all?

I've got 2 HDD one 200gb with win on it and the other 80 gb with ubuntu linux on it. When i switch off the windows hdd there are on disks shown in mac os installation, but when I switch it on they appear only in disk utility and no formating or mounting is possible but mount button is active and it is kinda frustrating
