fpdesigner Posted April 19, 2007 Share Posted April 19, 2007 My experience , i have try Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso On different machine . Not the installation but only the Apple utilityand System profiler for check future problem . ANd the verbose screen on boot -v This is the result from Apple system profiler HP PAVILLION DESKTOP PRESCOTT all original working firewire 400 , the mouse usb logitech , the keyboard ps2 , and the Geforce 6200 se Not the ethernet ASUS F9F CORE2 Working the Trakpad , the Bluetooth YES the Bluetooth ,Not the ethernet COMPAQ PRESARIO CORE2 Working the Trakpad , Not the ethernet The resolution it 's Ok only on the Pavillion that have geforce , the two notebook little problem for the wide resolution ,. My question is ? Can I boot osx from EXTERNAL DISK ? My the Pavillon have natively FIREWIRE 400 support How to boot like on Apple Machine , Press Alt on the Keyboard i spossible ? There is some particular tips ? How to choose the External disk on Windows is possible ? Can this software see the fw ? ACRONIS , DIKPART or GRUB Thanx Other little personal problem ..... MY problem is the EXTENDED MONITOR support . DVI to VGA , but i need DUAL DVI THIS IS MY SHOPPING LIST : ATI RA.37 VGA ASUS ATI EAX1600PRO TD 512MB PCI-E € 73.49 RA.22 VGA SAPPHIRE ATI PCI-E X1600PRO 512MB DDR2 € 77.49 geforce FC.21 VGA ASUS NVIDIA EN7600GS SILENT 512MB PCI-E € 99.49 FC.20 VGA POINT OF VIEW NVIDIA GF 7600GS 512MB PCIE € 103.99. I' m a vendor. GEFORCE or ATI ????????
