hi, I downloaded JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3 and it came in a large number of .rar files so I highlighted them all and extracted them, I was then produced with a folder named volumes, in side the folder, another zip folder which was apparantly 4gb big, but when unzipped changes to 125kb, when I look inside there is the following..

boot

boot

boot0

boot1h

boot1u

boothelp

cdboot

chain0

I tried burning these files to a disc and booting u using t but nothing, just carried on loading windows. Where is the iso file?? I dont understand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

..oh and also, when typing the commands into RUN. I list discs, select mine, and then ask it to list partition but it says I nned to list disc first? please help.

The JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3 is the .iso file. It only appears to be a .rar file because WinRAR can read .iso like they are .rar files. Right click and check the properties, you'll see it's an iso.

You have to burn it to a DVD as an iso, not unzip everything and copy it to a DVD. Use an image burning program like Nero Burning Rom or Alcohol 120% to burn it to a DVD as the iso.

Also, make sure in your BIOS you have it set to boot to CD/DVD before Hard Disk, so it checks to see if there is a bootable CD/DVD before loading data off of your hard disk.
