mrbonkers
have anyone installed os x 10.4.8 on a lenovo T60. not T60p. i tried it and it does not work. it gets to the blue screen of the installation(after the apple logo) and it hangs. dvd drive not reading, no activity on the hard disk. i only can get 10.4.5 to work on it but i do not want to use that version cuz it screws up the BIOS. i have to reflash the BIOS everytime i boot into os x. if you have a solution please post. thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48688-os-x-1048-on-lenovo-t60/ Share on other sites

willhill
I have a T60, and have successfully had 10.4.8 running on it using this install guide: T60 10.4.8 Install My only recommendation is to get the most recent JaS release because it only gets more reliable with time. willhill
I never had that exact problem, but I did have installation issues with the first DVD I downloaded. I then got this one - JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4. 8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.S SE3.PPF.1.Defiant. diskutil.biker880. ich7-R.patch.Integ rated - from a little green demon and all was well. When all is said and done, it ran very nicely, except of course for the wireless card.
