SunLizard
Your motherboard is not specifically reported in the HCL. What chipset does it use? Also, are your HDDs SATA or not? if your board is nForce (like a similar M55 listed in the HCL) you may get things working using a patch. You can also try the Genius Bar Forum (search for dual boot) and get some help there. SunLizard
a VMWare installation may work for you. Its not a bad idea to try VMWare install to see where you'll need to direct your efforts in terms of fixing hardware functionality as far as peripherals (Graphics Cards/Sound Cards/Networking). Be aware though VMware interfaces with your Mobo's hardware so it's NOT a good tool for those issues. Other things to try: On the Install disk verification process: Everything turns out ok on the check? (just a verification that your install disk is burned properly.) Try hooking up an IDE drive and doing an installation to that (any old IDE driver with at least 6 gigs should work) this will allow you to get the MacOS up and you can troubleshoot/apply patches to the system to get your nForce SATA working afterwards. Get a hold of JaS 10.4.8 (Final) evidently some functionality with nForce is better. This is by no means a garauntee'd fix, but it may help...
