Patogocho
yesterday I worked on my office's Quad G5 on finalcut 5.1.4 when I've a graphical bug on all the screen. I'm restart the mac and all OK, only disk utility says one of my HD was broken. today on my home using a Hackintosh I have the same problem, is so rare that this occurs in this two different kind of machines, could be a virus or an attack? U.C.
It probably means your Video Memory is dying or got overheated. It happened to my ATI 9600 PRO. EFI
Those on-screen artifacts are clear distinction that your video card is dying. Its not a virus or anything, its your memory clock on your video card going nuts. Thats also what will happen on your screen if you overclock your GPU to dangerous limits.
