Motherboard, Intel 945GTP ATX mini.

Original Bios.

I am getting Checksum CMOS errors, replaced the battery today, and still got an error, then a "Please Restart Your Computer".

Any ideas on what to do? Update Bios, clear bios? Not sure what to do.

GPU Nvidia 7600 with Natit drivers.

Pentium 4 dual core SSE3.

Thanks.

PS. Another thing that will happen is, I will leave the computer on and it will shut down on me if I leave it alone for a while.

This just started happening the past two days.

You said in another thread, new install correct?

If true and you are swapping in and out HD's for XP and OSX, yeah, your battery could be toast, they are only $5.00 US dollars or so.

Anyway, back to the new install, 10 to 1 in >SystemPreferneces>Enerfy Saver, (you know macs version of control panel), you have sleep, HD, etc enabled. Sounds like a classic mistake, which everyone makes I might add, even after being around a while, they forget with a new install to turn that off.

Let me know.

Still trying to find a way to update to OS 1048, can seem to get it to work. Also have 1048 Jas DVD, maybe just forget about it and slowy merge to new HD.

Comments!?

Cheers.
