Hi Roflcopterr:

I was able to construct my custom-built OSx86 last year based on components of OSx86's Hardware Wiki. My main box is MSI mPC 915 with Intel Celeron D 2.8gHz, Intel GMA 915 Graphics, 1.0GB Memory, 80GB IDE Hard Disk and NetGear WG311T Wireless. I bought most of my components from NewEgg.com. Since the MSI mPC 915 is no longer available, I'll suggest one that is similar.

ASUS T2-PH2 Intel (LGA775) Barebone = $129.99

Includes: Intel Integrated GMA 950 Graphics (Full CI/QE Support)

Intel Celeron D 356 3.3gHz (LGA775) Processor = $65.00

G.SKILL 1GB DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 System Memory = $50.99

Western Digital WD1600BB 160GB ATA100 Hard Drive = $50.99

LITE-ON Black 16X DVD-R Burner = $30.99

NETGEAR WG311 Wireless PCI Adapter = $39.99

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16833122119

Sub-Total = $361.95

Taxes (May Vary) = $26.24

Shipping (May Vary) = $23.77

GRAND Total = $411.96

So we can put together rather low-end sub-compact OSx86 PC under $412.00! You can always upgrade Processor, Memory, Hard Drive or other components to suit your needs. But so far this system is faster and has more storage space than the system I bought a year ago! I recommend using Myzar 10.4.6 (because it seems the most compatible) but there are those who got 10.4.8 or even 10.4.9 working great.

Good luck!
