Twistje
Specs in signature. Pentium M 740 - 1.73Ghz - Dothan - 533Mhz bus - PAE/NX/SSE2 Windows installed on 100GB HDD (3 partitions) where I prepared it. Burned the whole thing on DVD, chucked it in, rebooted with DVD in it, installed on external USB 2.0 drive, rebooted and it worked flawlessly. Stuff that doesn't work yet: Sound, Ethernet, WLAN, Audio, Hardware acceleration for X700. If someone knows of working drivers for these, tell me and I'll keep looking myself. Keep updating - I'd be interested in a pseudo-Powerbook myself. It's a fairly good model. Is it running native 1280x800 resolution or just VESA? Evergreen98
VESA 3.0, unfortunately Drat, oh well... right now I'm wrestling with my K8T800Pro desktop board before I even approach the laptop. I assume the ATI drivers for the X700 would be very similar to the 9800 Pro in my main system, which apparently does support Quartz/CI with 10.4.3. Unfortunately SATA doesn't natively work (need AppleVIAATA.kext to be loaded - I've got a working copy but can't figure out how to patch it into the install DVD.) If I start fooling around with the laptop and make any measurable progress, I'll be sure to update.
