mcuelenaere
Hi, I've searched a bit around the forum and didn't come up with any good answers, so I decided to make a new thread: has anybody tried flashing the EFI of a iMac/Macbook/Mac Pro on an an ordinary PC mobo ? Are there any projects related to this, cause I haven't found any... I tried downloading the newest EFI for the Macbook for analyse, but I can't get past the extraction of Archive.pax as I don't have Mac OS X. If somebody would be so kind of just extracting this files and reupping them, I would be very thankful ! (http://rapidshare.com/files/26028188/Archive.pax.html) There's a big chance that this could ruin the mobo, but hopefully there aren't a lot of custom logics in Apple's OEM branded Intel mobo, then the EFI firmware should work on an ordinary Intel branded similar mobo... or am I wrong? Anyway, thx. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48454-efi-questions/ Share on other sites
