20-inch Apple Cinema Display + ATI Radeon 9600 XT

Hi,

 

I have sucessfully installed JaS 10.4.8 on my Pentium 4 3.0 GHz. I have an ATI Radeon 9600 XT from Powercolor.

I'm currently using a 17'' monitor, and I managed to change the com.apple.Boot.plist to set the resolution to 1280x1024.

 

What I can't do is to get it through my 20-inch Apple Cinema Display, since everytime I try it instead of the 17-inch monitor, it doesn't show anything. Its resolutions are:

• 1680 x 1050 pixels (optimum resolution)
  
• 1280 x 800 pixels
  
• 1024 x 640 pixels
  

I've tried them all by changing the com.apple.Boot.plist, but no sucess.

What is the sollution? To install those Callisto drivers? If so, which version exactly? I read about people who installed those and couldn't get Mac OS X to boot anymore, so that scares me a bit.
