iradeon
I patched my 10.4.3 DVD, with the maxxuss patches (ppf), checksummed, all that. Still I am getting still waiting for root device when I try to boot from the DVD... it gives some errors about USB kexts.. any help? Also.. VMWare is not even recognizing that the DVD is there if I try to boot off it. macgirl
Specs? In VMWare dont mount it directly, use a 3th party tool like Daemon Tools or Nero Image Drive and asign the reulting letter drive to VMWare. In native mode if you are installing it from a USB DVD drive, disable USB 2.0, it only works with usb 1.1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/4818-1043-8f1099-still-waiting-for-root-device/#findComment-30735 Share on other sites
