asio
alway got "still waiting for root device" messenge when I tried to boot using 10.4.1 DVD. ( not having got the 10.4.3 yet ). The alternative method was to install via VMare. I mounted the entire physical hard drive onto VM and had Mac OS 10.4.1 installed on the second partition ( the first was allocated to windows xp ). Although the "forbiden" sign apeared, it dispeared after about one minute and the installation kept going again. By the way, I used an external usb2.0 DVD drive. (no internal drive) Full support of QE & CI at 1280X1024X32@85 (changeable) in the installed Mac OS 10.4.1. by editing some .kext's. Ethernet and Sound Card not recognized, I will edit corresponding kext and try to get them work tomorrow. IEEE 1394 and PS2 keyboard work perfectly. Celeron 336, Intel 945GNTLR mobo, Dual DDR2 512M, Maxtor ATA 250G, PS2 Keyboard, USB mouse. Good News! The system can wake up from sleeping by pressing a key on the keyboard or just move the mouse.
