JAS 10.4.9 iso : feedbacks... and advice

1st post here

 

 

I'm now downloading Jas 10.4.9 full install iso, and intend to try to install it on this rig :

 

Asrock Conroe 865PE (intel 865 + ICH5)

C2D e4300

2 GB ram (ddr1)

gainward 7800gs agp (chip is 7900gs), 512 MB (no onboard vga)

sound realtek and X-Fi elite

dual boot xp/vista 32 ultimate on 2 partitions on raptor 74GB

second sata hdd (samsung 320GB)

 

Have you already tried this iso?

Should I install this on an external dvd only? (as you see, I have now 2 sata hdd, but could add an internal IDE, or the same in an usb enclosure)

will my dvd-rw drive (pioneer 111) on IDE2 master work (for the install and generally)?

have you got advice about how I should multi-boot/format/install a third hdd? (especially because this is already a dual boot xp-vista : should I unmount the raptor containing both windows, try to install osx on another hdd? pre-format this hdd with something, or use the disk utility from the iso? some decribed issues doing so with 10.4.8 iso... install gag* first?)

any link to drivers I should download (I'm afraid I could get problems with this nvidia agp 512)?
