B-Man
I've got a problem with random hangs, especially DiskUtility and SystemProfiler tends to hang more than others. I can't Force Quit either, they just hang in the Dock with the spinning beach ball. My system also have a tendency to hang on Restarts and Shut downs. This always ends in a hard reset. System: Mac OS X 10.4.9 (8P2137) Kernel-versjon: Darwin 8.9.1 Bad Axe 2 MoBo E6700 C2D (Correctly recognized) 4 GB RAM (passed all tests, both Windows, OS X and TT Pro) Please Help Thank you. vbrep_register("4669") Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47938-random-hangs-os-x49/ Share on other sites

B-Man
I reinstalled the fsb autodetect 8.9.1 kernel (made sure to set the right permissions), and things seem, for now, to work normally.
