doc55
The mainboard which I am running is the Supermicro X7DAE rev 2.01 and in the BIOS it has 2 raid emulation options - Intel or Adaptec. I am keen to get OSX installed - I've got 10.4.8 /w JAS Patches and a friend has been trying to get this working for me. However, the installer starts up ok - but when we get to the disk bit it can't find the RAID array. I've got Vista installed on one partion - and I want to have OSX on the other.... Help? pgu
Hi, AFAIK, OS X only supports its own software RAID. You should try to put one ATA or SATA disk just for OS X , install onto it, and then try to access the RAID volume you built for windows. P.
