teomcdohl
Hey. I've been looking around here and I have to say it's a very nice forum. Lots of smart people and lots of helpful people. I've been a PC user my whole life, and recently my friend from school did a dual boot vista/mac OSX on a computer at our school, working perfectly... I wasn't there when he did it, but it works just fine. Anyway, I'll explain my story, and hopefully people can help. My computer is home made, ASUS P4P800E 3.0Ghz Intel P4 Processor, 1GB RAM, 160 Master HD (Split 130/30 Vista/OSX). I created the partition by shrinking Vista, creating the 30GB partition. After that, I followed the code, set partition 2 to boot up, installed OSX. OSX installed, I got the HFS+ Partition error which I fixed (found the fix on this board!) Anyway, OSX starts to load (code starts to scoll super fast) screen goes black, computer reboots. Okay... so then it does it again. And again. And again. It's a freakin infinite loop. So far I've tried to repair disk permissions and repair disk but it keeps on rebooting. Any suggestions? I've been thinking about formatting the whole disk, installing Vista again from scratch, and then doing it from the beginning. Please, if anyone can help, I'd be forever greatful! If anyone needs any more info, feel free to contact me.
