sunny_bee Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 First i would like to put info about my system: I have a dell dimension 8100 (THX) it has a Intel P4 Code name on CPU-Z is willamette its 423 mPGA socket 1.4ghz supports mmx, sse, sse2, i have a nvidia geforce 4 video card... motherboard its a dell chipset:intel southbridge:Inel Sensor:ITE.. Anyways here is my problem when i put the install dvd i have 10.4.6, 10.4.8 and both have the same problem i get that grey apple logo and the little gray wheel spins and then gos to a blue screen the the colored wheel spins for a while then like after a few minutes my computer shuts down.....on the 10.4.8 disks gos to like a command prompt and then says cpu halt....any ideas of input on how i can fix this or any way i can install it....i would like to thanks to anyone that helps me, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47849-install-help/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
