Tsayonara
*Solved!* Problem: Installation menu wouldn't showup, system would restart itself Solution: I had a SSE3 installation DVD, my laptop has SSE or SSE2. I got the SSE2 version and that one did work Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47841-installation-menu-wont-show-up/ Share on other sites
Mebster
Oh because I tend to make unclear posts: My problem: OSx86 installation won't load I see the mac logo for a split second and the pc reboots. Try a different DVD, type of DVD (+-), burning program and finally change the DVD ROM is you can. I had a similar issue for weeks where it kept restarting close to the end of the installation meaning I just wanted 30 mins each time. Someone suggested I try all I've stated above and changing the DVD drive worked!!!.
