sebseb7 Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 Hi, 8f1099 runs great. except: - itunes native from 8f1111 does not work - little problem with PS2: if I connect the keyboard via usb everything is fine, if I connect it via PS2: one key does not send a keycode (verified with ukelele), I have a german keyboard and the key in question is the key right of the left shift-key, in the german layout this key is labled with "<". (if connected via usb the key send the keycode 10 (decimal) ) Also: for PS2 keyboards, which are of course no apple keyboards, keycode 10 and 50 should be exchanged, cause apple and non apple keyboards differ here. But Iam not sure whether this is still true for non-german layouts. I took maxxuss's DVD patcher to install 8f1099, maybe something is not perfect with the ps2controller kext ? maxxuss ? opq Posted November 23, 2005 Share Posted November 23, 2005 I use 8F1099 with Maxxuss patcher, and my PS/2 keyboard works fine. Just num-lock but that never used to work. Now only to figure out how to get my Creative sound + broadcom lan adapter to work.
