SpockMX
I keep getting 2 errors when trying to install 10.4.8 though VMware The first is Still wating for root device and then it goes to /private/var/tmp: optimization changed from TIME to SPACE /private/var/tmp: optimization changed from SPACE to TIME /private/var/tmp: optimization changed from TIME to SPACE /private/var/tmp: optimization changed from SPACE to TIME /private/var/tmp: optimization changed from TIME to SPACE uid 0 /private/var/tmp filesystem full and then it stops Now I have to install this under VMware as i have no dvd drive. The image is mounted under daemon, and im using a physical hdd (40gig) to install OSX (its on the secondary IDE channel as slave, since my mast ide channel has my 2 250gig hdds on it) Pentium 4 2ghz (SSE2 only) 768mb physical ram, 512mb for the os in vmware. I have no idea how to correct this, as i have installed 10.4.3 & 10.4.6 the same way though vmware with the same hdd, same ram allocated, same hdd and all.
