AppleM!ke Posted April 7, 2007 Author Share Posted April 7, 2007 Thanks for the replies, but I'm still very confused. @greg i read through the link but it wasn't clear what i need to do to make my hard drives appear during the install. I would like to install to either my 80Gb IDE or a 20Gb partition on my 250Gb SATA. Modifying kext sounds a bit over my head. @rumble Thanks for the suggestion, but that didn't work. Normally I just leave the controller set to both. Any other ideas? AppleM!ke Posted April 7, 2007 Author Share Posted April 7, 2007 Managed to get this installed on my empty 80Gb IDE HD. But now it won't boot at all. I didn't make a partition just installed. Do I need to make a partition? Booting from the dvd shows the OS is there. Is there anything I can try to make this boot?
