Alessandro17
Well, the situation is not particularly encouraging, because some of the available distributions are pretty old. There is the Super Gamer distro: http://supergamer.org/ Download link: http://linuxtracker.org/torrents-details.php?id=4300 There is also Games Knoppix, which hasn't released since 2005: http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=02899 Here is its current status: http://www.games-knoppix.org/ There was also a one off (AFAIK) Wolvix Games Edition, not very impressive, IMO: http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=03112 And then there is a distro devoted to Go players, Hikarunix: http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=hikarunix What I personally miss is a distro for Chess players. Update: a new gaming Live DVD has been released, linuX-gamers Live DVD 0.9.1: http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=04297 To be noticed that the latest Sabayon is also "gaming oriented" http://distrowatch.com/?newsid=04372 But whether it will work for you is a big question mark. It doesn't for me. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47445-info-linux-gaming-distros/ Share on other sites
