.NetRolller 3D Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 Hi all! I have an important question about the update in the title. I originally installed OSx86 from a JaS 10.4.7 DVD. Then I upgraded to 10.4.8 with Mifki's kernel using the method that involved installing the combo update and then replacing files from mach_kernel.zip (I don't remember its name, maybe the MacSpiron method). Unlike what is stated in the OSx86 wiki for the Semthex kernel, this one didn't need the USB update (although USB doesn't work, it didn't fail to boot after the first restart). After that, I installed the 10.4.9 b8P2111 update, preserving the kernel. All this on a 775Dual-VSTA. My question: How do I update to 8P2137 with a 8.9.1 kernel without breaking the system? I would also like to finally get USB working. Another question: Will a ZyXEL G-202 be recognized as an AirPort in any way? Thanks! Oh, and I almost forgot: I have QE+CI with Natit (GeForce 7600GT PCX). I don't want to lose that.
