So I just noticed that certain screensavers are crashing system prefs when i try to select them...

Flurry, computer name, RSS, iTunes artwork, and spectrum work GREAT...

The others that require slides DON'T --> Beach, cosmos, nature, paper shadows, forest...

When I try and select them, system prefs crashes...attached is the log...

Sure... only .slideSaver files don't work, the other 3D ones work flawlessly... this problem is also posted for real macintosh, with no solution, I think it is related to an update, I've recently updated my AMD testing system from Myzar 10.4.9 to 10.4.10 replacing kernel and important kexts. The error, as u can see, is a severe Divide by zero error... I've also noticed that such screensavers also don't start by themselves, so I don't think it's a System Prefs problem. Perhaps such a behaviour can be recreated running other similar apps, such as iPhoto... I'll try that tomorrow.

Update: iPhoto works well. Also ScreensaverEngine crashes, not only System preferences, when trying to launch a .slideSaver screensaver. Could it be a Windowserver.app issue? I'll try with a new AppleSMBios.kext as soon as I can.

Yeah i have the same issue with Uphuck 1.3. Is that what you are using?

No I started from Myzar 10.4.9... trying a new AppleSMBios.kext right now...

Update: no way... trying to find new 8.10.1 kernels...

SOLVED: installed the latest 10.4.10 kernel for AMD (from PascalW 10.4.10 update), everything works!!! :hysterical:
