When I use "MacOS 10.4.8 with ppf1 patch DVD" to install MacOS in my desktop computer, the installation exit abnormally. The details as follow: 1. boot from DVD 2. Installation start 3. After many lines of text information, a blue screen appeared. 4. A black mouse cursor appeared in the blue screen. 5. A spin color ball appeared. 6. About 3 minutes later, installation stopped with the following information Apr 2 09:05:04 launchd: /bin/sh on /etc/rc terminated abnormally, going to single user mode Apr 2 09:05:04 launchd: Server 0 in bootstrap 1103 uid 0: "/usr/sbin/lookupd"[98]: exited abnormally: Floating point exception Apr 2 09:05:04 launchd: Server 0 in bootstrap 1103 uid 0: "/usr/sbin/configd"[31]: exited abnormally: Floating point exception Apr 2 09:05:04 launchd: Server 0 in bootstrap 1103 uid 0: "/usr/sbin/notifyd"[36]: exited abnormally: Floating point exception -sh-2.05b# The system information as follow: Mainboard:i865 CPU: INTEL PENTIUM® 4 2.40GHZ Memory:DDR333 256*2 Hard Disk:seagate ST380011A 80G (IDE ULTRA DMA 5), Intel 82801EB Ultra ATA Storage Controllers -24DB Display Card:ATI RADEON 9550 Sound Card:REALTEK AC97 AUDIO Ethernet Card:REALTEK RTL8139 USB Keyboard PS/2 Mouse Please tell me what I can do to solve this problem!
