mark.spiro
I'm trying to send all of my songs from my PC to my Mac, but I dont have an iPod (stolen). I know i can do this with DVD/external HD but i'd like to keep my play counts and ratings etc. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47258-itunes-song-copy/ Share on other sites
macgirl
I believe there is an App to do that, but what I did is this: I exported all of my song lists in XML, then copy all the data (mp3 mp4 aac etc) with network, I place them inside the iTunes Library folder The next step: I edited the XML file and changed where the location of files are, from D/itunes/iTunes Music/ to /User/my-user/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/ in each line it appears, the i just imported the xml file then all settings were kept. I sharing the same folder/files on XP and OSX86 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47258-itunes-song-copy/#findComment-341990 Share on other sites
