Dainix
Hey all, I was able to install and get 10.4.8 working perfectly on my CX210X Tablet PC. However, the kernel is using up 100% of one of my cores all the time. It alternates back and forth between each core, taking up 100% of it. I read up on removing the thermal and fan kernel extension, but I'm not sure if that'll fix it. If anyone has a solution, that'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. The Shaun
Use Activity Monitor and see what's using up all the processor resources. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47124-osx86-cpu-issue/#findComment-337834 Share on other sites
Dainix
Activity Monitor is what helped me find the problem. The kernel is continuously working on one of the two cores. Dainix
Nevermind, I found the issue. Turns out that the iwi3945 driver was running the processor up, even after disabling TPM and such.
