Fatherless One Posted March 31, 2007 Share Posted March 31, 2007 Hi from down under Yes I'm another newbie I have: Gigbyte GA-81945P-G-RH motherboard Intel Pentium 4 3.00Ghz processor Nvidia GeForce7300 GT graphics card (GV-NX73T256P-RH) Is this setup going to work under OSX86? I've been doing some research and these is some doubt about my motherboard but particularly the video card. What do I need (if anything)? Zizou Posted March 31, 2007 Share Posted March 31, 2007 What intel (?) chipset is on your motherboard? the 7300 GT will do just fine (it's in the MAc Pro too!) and the P4, depending wether it's a dothan (requires SSE3 emu) or the prescott (can do SSE3 natively) is compatible.. I think you're good to go! check the HCL on the wiki page though. The GigaRAID function booklet he's given me says: Only For Chipset IT8212, does this help? Btw what is HCL, sorry for the dumb question.
