UltramaticOrange
I've found a few others with the same problem but not solution yet... So, I've partitioned and installed JaS OS X 10.4.8 including the Intel packages (excuse my Linux lingo. I'm very new to OS X) on my fiancee's old P4 2.66Ghz which, from what I've gathered, is an SSE2 processor. When I try to boot I get the splash screen/throber and after a few minutes the system seems to go into power-save mode: monitor is effecitvly 'off', USB ports (mouse) no longer put out power. Has anyone else encountered this problem and found the solution? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/46744-1048-boots-to-power-save/ Share on other sites
UltramaticOrange
After changing graphics cards I can get one boot out of it immediatly after an install but I continue to get the same thing on reboots. Screw it. FreeNAS, here I come. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/46744-1048-boots-to-power-save/#findComment-335165 Share on other sites
