Hi,

I installed OSX and upgraded to 10.4.9 using the images provided by JAS !!! GREAT!!

Changed the EN0 to EN1 etc etc in the networkinterfaces.plist.

Great, Dell 1390 detected as airport all working fine.

Followed the instruction here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...hl=broadcom+440 to get the onboard broadcom 440x functioning.

Great now onboard ethernet now fully functional BUT I have lost all sight of the 1390 (airport) card. It is not listed anywhere.

If I add the original entries that I kept from the old networkinterfaces.plist, no change. onboard continues to work fine, but I still cant see the aiport anywhere.

HELP!!! How do I go about re-enabling the airport card.

I did all this to try and correct and error -50 when trying to connect to iTunes.

Thanks

Dale

This may help if you didn't bother doing this after trying the tutorials for fixing your network cards.

sudo -s

chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/kexttorepair.kext

chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/kexttorepair.kext

tocuh /System/Library/Extensions

Reboot.
