chimerical
I'm getting a random block (an artifact?) of some other area of the screen, left behind by my mouse cursor. A new one is left behind in the trail of my mouse every few seconds, and the one before it disappears. Any ideas? I'm using a Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical with Intellipoint installed. They began appearing when I added the line in the ATIRadeon9700GA.kext for the Callisto drivers to enable QE/CI on the ATI Radeon 9550. pmalm
You can find a lot of threads about this problem, it's called "mouse tearing". Here is one with some help, http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...&hl=tearing. On my other system with ATI 9600XT card this kind of tricks works fine, alltought when using fullscreen OpenGL software mousepointer turns to a wide line, and system has to be restarted.
