Hey, new to the mac os x86 community. Gotta say I love it.

My problem is as follows...

I have a dual monitor setup. Can't really get by without it. I have Windows Vista, SuSe 10.2, and Mac OS X installed on the machine, I have dual monitors configured in Windows and Linux (I have hand editted my Xorg.conf in the past with SuSe 10.0 and a MATROX card), but I cannot find anywhere how to do the same in Mac OS X. I am perfectly comfortable hand editting my com.apple.Boot.plist if needed, just looking for some pointers in the right direction. Thanks again guys

True . No information, no help.

I installed the 10.4.9 pretty smooth on a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro Laptop.

That one sports an Intel 945/950 chipset. It has an external video connector that is DVI.

That Video part is a Intel 945GM . ( Tht it says on the Wintel side)

So Networking is ok. even Bluetooth starts working, but the extrenal monitor is not "seen" , when looking into the System info I get this:

Intel GMA 950:

Chipset Model: GMA 950

Type: Display

Bus: Built-In

VRAM (Total): 64 MB of shared system memory

Vendor: Intel (0x8086)

Device ID: 0x27a2

Revision ID: 0x0003

Displays:

Display:

Resolution: 1280 x 800

Depth: 32-bit Color

Built-In: Yes

Core Image: Supported

Main Display: Yes

Mirror: Off

Online: Yes

Quartz Extreme: Supported

Display:

Status: No display connected

Well, the display is connected. The Monitor driver just does not know about it, does not work, is maybe not the right one?

Any help on where to check, which route to go would be apreciated.
