Geforce driver issues - Unable to boot with drivers installed

I am running Jas 10.4.8 on a Dell with a GeForce 5650. My OSX install was working properly for a while, I probably rebooted 15 times before I had trouble.

 

Now I cannot boot to the GUI unless I delete all the geforce files from /system/library/extensions.

 

How can I troubleshoot the problem? I didnt make any changes so I cant figure out why the drivers would just stop working. Is their a new version of the nvidia driver I can try, the ones I had were installed by the Jas DVD.

 

Edit: To be more specific I moved the geforce files to a new folder and in total their were 5. Of of these was a kext and the rest were either packages or another type which I forgot at the moment.
