smooth3006 Posted March 24, 2007 Share Posted March 24, 2007 i have sucsessfully installed mac os x and linux on vmware. im thinking on formatting my gateway laptop today and creating several partitions for unbutu, mac os x 10.4.8, vista, xp x64. what would be the correct method to do this and which os should i install first ? i know vista has to be last. JSn1™ Posted March 24, 2007 Share Posted March 24, 2007 Yes, you are right, Vista has to be the last OS installed, I see that you are installing Linux, be shure to install the boot loaders at the first sector OF THE PARTITION, it is recommended to have Windows XP preinstalled. I would install in the next order.
