aussieoc
Hello I am trying to load JaS 10.4.8 natively but I am running into some difficulties. This is my machine specs: SGI/Intel 4U Rack Server 2GB PC4200 Intel D865GBF Mobo Intel P4 3Ghz Maxtor 80G ATA/133 HDD I have it setup so my HD is the primary and my DVD drive as my secondary drive. When I boot up with the DVD and hit F8 Darwin give me a prompt to: select the startup volume. hd(111,1) Mac OS X Install Disc x86 boot: _ That is the only volume that it recognizes. When I hit enter (with the -v -x -f flags) It loads the kernel and few other lines but when it hits: Loading +HFS file [/system/Library/Extensions.mkext] It thinks for sec and reboots everytime. Can someone please help me diagnose this problem. From what I can gather people have installed JaS successfully with my mobo. Is there a certain flag that I am missing? My bios sees my HD as the primary and my DVD drive as the secondary, should i switch those around? Thank in advance Cesar Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/46126-installation-rebooting/ Share on other sites
