peach Posted March 22, 2007 Share Posted March 22, 2007 I just bought a new notebook, amilo Li1705. The utility disk didn't recognize my hard disk, so I installed via Vmware and everything went ok. But now when I try to boot it natively i have the always the error "still waiting for root device". The only error i can notice before is something like "AppleVIAATADriver: VIA UNKNOWN" and other 4 strings like "USBF: 38.538 EHCI controller unable to take control" Any suggestion? My processor is a "Pentium Dual Core T2060", MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3. Chipset VIA P4M900 Southbridge VIA VT8237A Ps. Sorry for my bad English, I'm Italian...
