JonBOY
How has your experience been installing OS X86? ......it's been all over the place like a dogs breakfast! The actual install was fine with OSX booting from IDE HDD no problems. The problem for me has been modifying kexts or plist or whatever in order to get exxentail hardware components working that weren't supported natively...such as my lousy sticking LAN ports! Yeah my motherboard (a GA-8i915P Dup Pro) has two ports and do you think I couod get either one of those suckers working....NO! But that's entirely due to my lack of expertise with Terminal, as I'm having trouble making the necessary changes to the plist etc. If you know your way around terminal how about giving this a read and throwing me a freakin' bone. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=44742 thanks. Slinger2g
AAAAH YES.... Terminal!!! You should always start with: sudo -s(then enter password if you have one) sudo mv(moves files and kexts to a destination) Repairing Permissions: sudo chown -R root:wheel sudo chmod -R 755 You should also always :exit: terminal, never terminate! P.S. These files always come in handy! http://forum.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/i...php/t36886.html
