I've tried so many different drivers and solutions to try and fix it and I cant find a way to do it, so I'm hoping someone here can help me out. My motherboard is a Shuttle AV49V motherboard with VIA AC97 audio in the back with only 3 ports; line-in, line-out, mic-in. The version of OSX I installed is JaS 10.4.8 Darwin 8.8.1. Please someone help me! I'd really really appretiate it! Specs: P4 2.0 GHz Shuttle AV49V MB 80 gig Maxtor 512 RAM GeForce FX 5200 SoundBlaster! card that I know I can't use =( Thank you! P.S. Also, if anyone can help with a minor problem...when I try to go on youtube or a site with flash videos, it only plays the first few seconds and freezes. Not a big deal, but if anyone can solve this for me, I'd be greatly appretiative! Thank you!
