10.4.8 Issues

Note: accidently posted in the wrong thread before, idk how to delete it from there, but oh well, here's my problem

 

Hey, I just recently have been attempting to install OS X 10.4.8 onto my PC. I was able to go through the install process, but when it came time to start up and boot into OS X it simply stayed put at the screen right before my computer usually goes into loading an operating system.

 

I used this guide which sadly must be opened in Firefox http://www.profit42.com/index.php/2007/02/...elamd-computer/

 

Dell Dimension 8250

Processor:Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz 533 (Northwood, I believe)

Motherboard:PLANAR

Video Card:AGP Geforce2 Ti
