Robbeke
Ok in short: My pc config: Gigabyte 965P-DS4 rev 1.0 4 x 512 DDR 533 Nvidia 6610 XL PCI-E DVi + VGA (all OS X acceleration features activated) Fujitsu siemens L17-2 17" TFT connected through DVI Mac OS X 10.4.8 Semthex kernel 8.8.1 + ALC883 Package (3 stereo + digital) + NVidia 40 driver package from JaS CD. Everything working pretty well only I have some minor but annoying issues: - Sometimes when I boot OS X hangs at a lightblue screen in low-res (640x480) when the login screen should appear. I saw in the forums that the same issue occurs with the 915 chipset on laptops that have VGA out so I think it has to do with the Graphics card. Resetting the pc one or two times fixes the issue and it boots. Anybody any clue how to fix it? Should I install Titan? - Is it possible to install on a software - RAID configured via diskutil? - When I create a backup using diskutil in a compressed image it is around 1.4 GB for a disk where 6-7 GB is used... is that normal and will I be able to restore? Maybe I have some other things that bother me but I'll post later on... many many thanks in advance for your help!
