Scorpio123 Posted March 19, 2007 Share Posted March 19, 2007 Hi there, i have an HP dv1000, and in a failed effort to get my OS X to boot without an external monitor, i decided to use the one-wire paperclip trick.. OS X booted to my joy, but in an effort to see if i could still use the extended monitor by re-inserting my VGA cable and hitting the display change button on my keyboard, it seemed to mess up the resolution. Now all i can see is a blue box inside a black box, where i can control only the mouse. When i rebooted, the problem persisted. But wen i booted with the VGA cable and my external monitor, it booted fine.. Is there any way to fix my paperclip resolution, which seems to always be that blue box everytime i boot? thanks! P.s. if anybody has any success getting the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG to work, please do tell!!
