Jeezoflip
Hey. I recently put ubuntu on my server insted of xp pro in my house. Its general purpose is a counter-strike server, file share, and print server. Recently, the counter-strike server would always crash on windows, so i decided to put everything on linux. ANYWAY... So they have a counter-strike server app for linux...Done. They have samba share, so i can still have my windows share...Done. Now i samba shared my printer. In windows i can see it but when i connect, it says i need to install the drivers. I click install drivers, but it says the host has the wrong drivers for this printer installed. My guess is because im trying to put the linux HP drivers onto windows. So i hit the button have disk and try to install the windows drivers from the cd onto my computer, but when i do that, it says the printer is there, but i can not connect, access is denied.... Yes, the printer works directly from in ubuntu, but not from windows. Any ideas?
