tonyjaa Posted March 19, 2007 Share Posted March 19, 2007 I installed mac osx on my tecra s2 (toshiba) yesterday. I was trying to install a dual boot.. with xp so far everything was going great. After the mac osx installation my pc restarted . I pressed F8 and it booted darwin off my hdd. Unforutantly it showed the mac logo with the circle spinning for quite some time but after that time i got a symbol with a line through it. over the apple. I dont understand, should i have downloaded the sse2 pack? I really need some help asap because yearbook time is coming yp and im the directior and we are starting the committe this wed. Please help. and ps: this has to work because I searched for Toshiba Mac on youtube and found the tecra s1 running mac osx. Please help with a guide. tonyjaa Posted March 21, 2007 Author Share Posted March 21, 2007 i got another problem the osx runs but now i cant boot into the normal mode only into safe mode -x and i cant figure out y? And after i updated the osx it wouldnt let me enter back it gave me a flsh and that was it. I ran the osx with th drivers but now im getting a grey scale.... I can only boot in safemode through -x!!!! what should I do..?? I read somewhere that i should paste the video650.plugin and move it into the root.. when they say root does that mean when i open finder and se applications and root or in my users root.
