Solved my hard drive problem. Used Windows XP CD, entered recovery mode, formatted the drive to NTFS, added an MBR. Rebooted into Jas DVD. Set partition as active, Formatted the partition to HFS+, rebooted and installed 10.4.8 onto the drive.

Now here is my current problem.

I get past the grey apple logo

screen turns blue and gets stuck in a infinite loop between flashing the circle progress bar and displaying the mouse in the upper left hand corner.

I'm new to the OSX86 scene so I don't know if this is a frequent problem or what.

Hit me with some knowledge InsanelyMac. Thanks

Additional Info.. I rebooted with verbose mode on and it seemed to get pretty far into the bootup then the screen went black, my LCD start blinking like it wasn't getting video feed. I quit working on it for now. Will do more research later.

Specs:

Core2Duo

Intel Bad Axe 2 mobo

250GB hd for OS X

250GB hd for Win XP

Well -v -f -k didn't help much. I didn't get to see the last line before my hackintosh dropped the video feed. Thought I DID get to boot into OS X via safe mode (holding down shift). This is very interesting.

So whatever safe mode disables allowed the computer to bootup, any ideas?
