Audio on notebook

With the help of all of you, my "Acer-intosh" is near to be perfect. Acer Travelmate 2482, Celeron 1.7, 1GB Ram, Hd 60GB, DVD R/RW (working), GMA940 (working), Broadcom Wireless (working), "generic" bluetooth via usb (working), Ethernet (not working, yet), and, with JaS 10.4.8 also ALC883 audio is working... :-)

 

Now the question about the audio: with 1/8 jacks, in, out, and mic works. But "inside"speakers don't work. I've read a lot of posts in the forum but I didn't noticed nothing about it... well, it's normal or there's a way to make the speakers "work"?

 

Thanks!!! BTW, it's fun to have again a "fast" Mac... my G4 is growing old... :-)
