I have just installed the Jas 10.4.8 amd/intel version.

I keep getting a kernel panic when I boot into normal mode, but safe boot works just fine.

I have tried reinstalling with and without the natit install option. I ran the Maxxus Binary Patcher after the installation like the AMD package said, but it only patches about half of the files it says it needs to patch.

I have tried safe booting and installing the natit 7600 series package and the universal installer by Neo.

In safe boot I could also change my resolution and refresh rate, even when I didn't have the edited drivers.

The extensions it lists after the kernel panic are:

com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily

com.apple.iokit.IOGraphicsFamily

com.apple.iokit.IONDRVSupport

com.apple.NVDResman

I don't know what else to try. I have tried older versions of osx86 before on my computer, but they didn't work very well, they booted normally though.

My computer is a Shuttle SN27P2 barebones with an Athlon64 3500+ and a PCIe XFX 7600GS.

I also have Realtek HD sound, but osx won't load it either.

Any help would be appreciated. I have searched around a bit on google and on the forums, but can't find any solutions to my problem.

I did some more reinstalls and got it working.

I installed without the Natit package on my disc and then ran, the amd patch, and, in safe boot mode, ran the Natit universal installer by Neo.

Diabolik's 7600 series installer caused major video issues and the Natit universal installer worked perfectly.

I have dual displays working, full QE/CI support, and resolution changing.

My only problems now are trying to get sound and SATA working, otherwise osx would be running pretty smooth on my computer.

Hope this helps anyone.
