en_fr_bowman
I apologize if this topic has already been discussed, but I haven't found anything: I have a notebook from Packard Bell and almost everything works perfect in OSX, but audio gives me some headhache. My notebook has AD1986 as internal audio chip and I use Azalia for getting 2ch audio output, the problem is that line-out does'nt work, audio is perfect until I plug my 3.5 jack in. As soon as jack is plugged, audio stop to come out from internal speakers (and it is normal) but I can't hear anything from my external speakers. I have a dual boot system and in windows xp everything works correctly. has Anyone any ideas? thank you in advance for your reply. en_fr_bowman
Sorry for my second post, but I could'nt manage to edit the previous one... I still cannot hear any sound from my speakers connected to the 3,5 S/SPDIF OUT while in windows everything is working smoothly. Now I have a doubt.... the speaker out is marked as S/SPDIF so it means that I can connect a normal 3.5 connector and also an optical spdif cable.... so maybe AppleAzalia enables only spdif and not the analogic OUT?
